Don’t rely on miracles to take great pictures!
Join National Geographic photographer Yehoshua Halevi for a two-hour photo walk on the fifth night of Hanukkah. Learn the secrets of using fire to create your next masterpiece. We’ll blaze a path through the streets of Nachla’ot and the Machane Yehuda Market to photograph glowing chanukiot and the rituals of the Festival of Lights, while discovering new techniques for lighting and composing dazzling holiday images.
What you’ll learn on this workshop:
- How to maximize your camera’s ability to photograph in low light.
- How to pose human subjects using fire as the primary light source.
- How to find the proper focal point
- How to use reflections to make your compositions sparkle.
- Plus much more.
This workshop is appropriate for all skill levels and cameras, including cell phones, and includes a follow-up critique of your work via email. A tripod is recommended, but not required.
Tour is limited to 8 participants and runs 2 hours. Begins promptly at 16:45 p.m. in front the Marzipan Bakery on Agrippas Street.
